Trivia Question❓

In Catholic tradition, there are Seven Corporal Works of Mercy and Seven Spiritual Works of Mercy. Can you name all fourteen works?

Answer at the bottom of the newsletter

The toughest battle each day may arrive before you even open your eyes.

That first quiet moment in the morning—before coffee or phone alerts—shapes everything that follows.

Many of us yearn for mornings grounded in purpose, prayer, and peace, not chaos or endless to-do lists.

But making space for God at dawn isn’t about drama or grand gestures.

It comes down to simple habits: a whispered prayer, a few verses, honest gratitude.

Research backs this: a steady, intentional start lowers stress and brings clarity.

Forget perfection—showing up matters more.

Even messy attempts at prayer leave the day lighter, steadier, more rooted.

You don’t need a spiritual overhaul or endless devotions at sunrise—just a straightforward, reliable routine.

Let your mornings be real.

Offer a few quiet moments to God, and step into your day knowing you’ve already met with grace.

At the Vatican on July 2, 2025, young European Catholics launched an ambitious initiative to reinvigorate the continent’s Christian roots.

Known as Rome ‘25 – The Way of St. James ‘27 – Jerusalem ‘33, the project invites youth on a spiritual journey culminating in the 2033 Jubilee of Redemption in Jerusalem.

Guided by Bishop Mikel GarciandĂa of Spain and supported by major Catholic institutions, the initiative aims to inspire young people to explore faith through pilgrimage, healing, and evangelization.

Thousands of youth have contributed to a powerful manifesto—a “living voice” expressing hope, faith, and dreams for Europe’s future.

Project leaders, including Fernando MoscardĂł and Father Antonio Ammirati, emphasize the non-political, joyous proclamation of the Gospel.

Religious leaders across Europe, including Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, have voiced support, seeing the movement as a beacon for renewal and unity.

This journey seeks to restore spiritual depth to European pilgrimage, offering hope and meaning in uncertain times.

Today’s culture is obsessed with achievements and status, from LinkedIn milestones to racking up frequent flyer miles.

Yet, many ignore the most important “relocation project” — securing their eternal future.

If heaven were a gated community, most would find themselves locked out, never having requested access.

We focus on temporary rewards while overlooking the guarantee of salvation offered by Jesus — a gift that’s already paid for, requiring no spiritual hustle or impressive resume.

True grace isn’t a handout; it demands a real, personal response.

Many treat God like an on-demand app, but faith calls for ongoing commitment, not a last-minute plea.

Relying on 401(k)s or status is futile for eternity.

The time to respond is now, because salvation is a gift that must be actively accepted, not passively hoped for.
